Using salvaged wood from ireland we created a collection inspired by the beautiful green of oxidised copper and the bulb-protecting work lights of dockers.
From quiet country churches, silent docks and forgotten railway sleepers, our lighting begins with the unique textures of our salvaged wood. Coupling this storied wood with industrial materials and elegant retro bulbs we craft lighting collections for modern homes and spaces.
Each lamp is unique, the colour, grain and finish of the wood will vary from lamp to lamp. All our lamps are made by hand in our studio in Ireland.

Niamh Barry was born in Dublin, Ireland, where she still works and lives. In 1991, upon her graduation from the National College Of Art and Design, Barry established her studio practice.Barry creates unique light sculptures predominantly in bronze and LED. As one of only eight international artists selected to showcase innovative lighting designs in London’s Luxcraft in 2011, Barry is recognized as an early adopter and innovator in the use of LED technology. Barry attributes this technology as allowing her to ‘draw’ with light and bronze.
Since the beginning of her artistic career, Barry has risen to prominence in the art and design world, becoming one of the most sought-after figures working in LED light sculptures today.
Based in my rural studio in Newcastle, Co. Dublin, I work with clients to create timeless pieces for their home or space that resonate their unique story. For me the process of creating is about making connections, with the client’s story, the material, the sculptural elements of the piece itself. Through weaving these together, I believe it is possible to achieve a resonance in a piece (a bit like composing a song) that can impart a feeling of joy or happiness.
Furniture designer Colin Harris set up his own studio in Newcastle, Co Dublin in 2015 – but he’s far from being a novice.
